10. Floor or baseboards
You will most likely not be able to place a full panel on the bottom due to the space between the bottom of the lowest row and the floor or baseboard.
You might need to "rip" one or more of your panels. Ripping is when you have to cut a board horizontally along its width.
Lay your board up against floor or baseboard and accurately mark where you need to rip the panel. Once you have done this, take your utility knife and a long straight edge (or you can use another panel that you have if you have extra) and make your cut along the line you drew. Test the panel on the wall before you remove the backing and make any adjustments to your cut necessary. Lastly, apply the piece to the wall and press firmly to adhere.
